Hemel Hempstead

Hemel Hempstead is nestled in the county of opportunity - Hertfordshire, with a backdrop of glorious rolling countryside. With a population of around 90,000 people and developed after World War II as a new town, it has existed as a settlement since the 8th century and is part of the district and borough of Dacorum. Hemel’s Old Town is like stepping back in time, with quaint shops and bars, and cute cottages and mews style courtyards. The recently rejuvenated high street is a fantastic place to visit.  More recent investment has seen the development of the new high street attracting all the main retailers and the development of the Maylands Industrial Estate attracting new residential and business opportunities. Hemel Hempstead also boasts fantastic commuter links to London -  the train to Euston takes only 20 Minutes. By road the M1 is only minutes away and arterial roads to neighbouring towns offer a wealth of wonderful places to visit.
